So looking into kind of the future of where things are going here, Kevin, how will SEO's relationship with content evolve in the next eighteen months?
Kevin Indig 0:55
More SEOs will open themselves up to a programmatic approach based on AI. AI will create more content and hopefully not without a human in the loop. But I think creating com content from scratch these days, like without AI, is probably it's pretty like borderline foolish. And again, like I'm And you qualify that a little bit, like I'm not for AI slob, I'm for like AI helping set up a draft, guidance, ideas, right? Like all that kind of stuff. So I think I think that's how it's gonna change. I think also that the marginal value of content pieces on average is going down significantly because it drives much less traffic. And at the same time, I wonder if maybe the We we compensate in volume, right? So we get less for every piece of content, but we can create a lot more, or maybe a lot faster.
Kevin Indig 1:47
And can we compensate that way? We'll see. But I think that's those are some ways that the relationship with content changes.

Time for a one-minute break to hear from our sponsor, Previsible. So you're looking for SEO help, then you got a couple of options. You could start replying to spam from agencies that claim they can get you to rank number one on Google. You can pay an hourly rate for a consultant who will inevitably nickel and dime you with hourly charges, or you can work with a cookie cutter agency to quickly launch a strategy-less project with low success rate. None of those sound very good. Now do they? Well, that's where Previsible's integrated consulting model comes in. Previsible draws from a collective 40 years of SEO and digital marketing experience to unlock your organic growth opportunities. They build custom solutions that combine strategy, technical expertise, content, and reporting to effectively operationalize SEO for your business.

Pre-visible's four-stage approach ensures that your SEO programs thrive. By starting off with a strategy first approach. Then they support you in your efforts to create quality content, help you identify technical issues, and most importantly, they'll work with your cross-functional teams to integrate your SEO strategies to make sure that your SEO budget actually drives results, not just your agency's bottom line. So join brands like Yelp, eBay, Canva, Atlassian, Square, all who rely on the SEO consultant. At Previsible. For more information, go to previsible.io. That's previsible P-R-E-V-I-S-I-B-L-E.O.

I take a contrarian view. I actually think a lot of SEOs are gonna they're gonna need to become hyper vigilant about what works in their audience set and double down on it. So if if video, like your instruction example, if video is the game, then video is the only game I need to play, play really well. And I think it's gonna be hard because so many of us have become amenable to the scale concept of content that is gonna constantly run into a roadblock. It's gonna constantly fail. But we'll see what happens. 18 months is a long period of time and so much could change. 18 months, we could see all of this conversation reflip to an old school mentality overnight. We just don't know yet, you know, which is crazy.
