It's just a like a a token predictor.
While not s wrong at the technical perspective when it comes to an LM, AI has like long learned to reason, right?
There's a lot of personalization going on.
And now with agents, I think it's a very short-sighted perspective to say, oh yeah, they just predict the next word.
It's like, uh, they kind of do a lot more than that now.
AI visibility.
Everything is AI now, right?
Even Google, they're they're pushing AI overviews hard and AI mode, and it's just like a click away from AI mode becoming the default experience.
And the impact of being visible in AI answers is very high.
Share voice.
You want to think more about relative metrics rather than absolute metrics because uh things change so much more with AI, right?
Like the number of possible citations you can get and and mentions, they change a lot faster than with like classic ranks and clicks and all that kind of stuff.
So
You're looking for a relative metric that is in context of your competitors, and that's why share voice, that would be my go-to.
