Tyson Stockton 0:43
Alright, so next question, it's gonna be, what's the word? What's one word that defines the evolving connection between retail SEO teams and AI engineers?
AJ Ghergich 0:54
So

How does AJ Ghergich describe “alchemy” as the blend of SEO, engineering, and AI?

AJ Ghergich 0:55
The word that comes to mind is is alchemy. So, you know, kind of combining different ingredients to make something more than the sum of its parts. I I talk to a lot of leaders and you know, maybe we'll have a on site, you know, and maybe we're having a drink afterwards, something like that.

Why should AI search be the unifying hub for SEO, engineering, social, and PR teams?

AJ Ghergich 1:13
I'm getting a lot of like taps on the shoulders and like, hey, like, should I still be hiring for like traditional SEO team here? Like, should we go with like a GEO agency or should I bring in someone from that? Or like, how, like, how do I get my engineering more better integrate? Alchemy. The answer is none of those things on their own are enough. You need them all. And Gin AI and AI Search has the chance to be a hub inside of your org for all of your spokes. So it should be the uniting force. For all of your spokes, not just SEO, engineering, like social, PR, like everything should unite around the hub of AI search. And if you do that, you're gonna be in a lot better position. I don't think it's like, let me switch horses to this one or that one or one specific.
AJ Ghergich 2:06
Bet is gonna win. It's it's a mix. It's alchemy.
Tyson Stockton 2:10
Absolutely. It's how

How can organizations integrate AI search into their core strategy instead of treating it as a flash‑in‑the‑pan?

Tyson Stockton 2:12
How are you bringing this into like the core approach of the organization rather than just being, you know, a flash in the pan? A hundred percent. Well, with that, that's gonna wrap up this episode of the Voice of Search podcast. Thanks again to AJ Gergic from Botify for joining us.
