Hey Tyson, great to be here. Thanks for having me on.
Tyson Stockton 1:15
Yeah, so today we're we're talking holistic SEO strategies. Obviously the industry there's been a lot of lot of noise, a lot of changes going on. Maybe to kinda I guess just set the stage, uh, why don't you tell the listeners a little bit about kind of who you are and your background.
Manick Bhan 1:32
Yeah, happy to. So I'm Monik Bond, founder, CEO, CTO of Search Atlas Group. We've been basically studying Google and trying to decode the Google equation for the last seven years. And we've learned a lot of secrets along the way. We've taken those and translated those into software and technology and really experiments that we run on our test sites as well as on you know the larger body of sites that are using our technology. So we've learned a lot about Google. And uh look forward to unpacking some of the secrets that we figured out today.
Tyson Stockton 2:01
Excellent. And as far as holistic SEO goes, like maybe to set the stage a little bit, like what's what's the spectrum, like what all are we including in holistic?
Manick Bhan 2:14
Sure. So holistic SEO is like the multivitamin. Gives you everything you need. So in SEO we know that there are many components that Google's responding to. And When I think about like the Google equation, simplest form is organic traffic equals ranking signal times ranking potential. Holistic SEO is really about giving you ranking signals and boosting your ranking potential through content, new landing pages. So the way I think about it is that's what we're doing, is we're trying to drive the Google equation in our favor. And the four key pillars of holistic SEO in our framework is We call it the exact framework. It stands for XACT. X is UX of Behavior, A Authority, C content, and T technicals. Those four pillars constitute a holistic SEO.
Tyson Stockton 3:00
And can you kind of expand on each of those pillars? Like, for example, I would assume within tech you're gonna have elements of indexation and crawling, but can you kinda paint the picture a little bit more for the listeners on what what exactly would be in each of those?
Manick Bhan 3:18
Totally. So let's start with X. X is uh is all about user experience and user behavior. So with that, Google's measuring how useful is the content to searchers. Are people hitting the back button? Are they going to a different search result? Are they bouncing? What's the user behavior telling Google about the quality of the content that's in the search engine? If people keep clicking on what's in position three over position one, position three moves to one and one one will move down the page. So that signal that Google's responding to, that's X, that's the user behavior, user experience signal. Okay.
Tyson Stockton 3:54
Exactly. So in that same sense, I would assume from this, like you're basically including elements here that would be part of nav boost that we've seen in the DOJ trials as well as, you know, with the Google leak. But that X component, looking at that user behavior, it sounds like that's capturing a lot of kind of
