What is the biggest myth about AI search visibility that enterprise teams need to unlearn?

Jordan Cooney 0:42
I'm Jordan Cooney, and joining me to tackle these critical questions is Thomas Payam, CEO and co-founder of Otterly AI. What's the biggest myth about AI search visibility that enterprise teams need to unlearn?
Thomas Peham 0:58
Mm. Um so I think we need to unlearn that those systems are not influenciable. So I I hear a lot that while those systems are we cannot really influence those LLM large language models and whatnot. That's not true. Um most of them use web search type features, right? Of various degrees.

How can enterprises actually influence AI‑driven search results?

Thomas Peham 1:17
And I've seen big success, be it through on page or off page. On page is definitely faster where you can And basically get your content cited within JetGBT in a couple of days.

Time for a one-minute break to hear from our sponsor, Previsible.

Why do on‑page SEO tactics work faster for AI search engines?

Unknown 1:33
So you're looking for SEO help, then you got a couple of options. You could start replying to spam from agencies that claim they can get you to rank number one on Google. You can pay an hourly rate for a consultant who will inevitably nickel and dime you with hourly charges, or you can work with a cookie cutter agency to quickly launch a strategy-less project with low success rate. None of those sound very good. Now do they? Well, that's where Previsible's integrated consulting model comes in. Previsible draws from a collective 40 years of SEO and digital marketing experience to unlock your organic growth opportunities. They build custom solutions that combine strategy, technical expertise, content, and reporting to effectively operationalize SEO for your business.

So I think the biggest myth is that it's it's not influenzable um and we can't do anything about it. We can definitely do anything we can definitely do something about it.

What practical steps should teams take to experiment with AI search engines?

Thomas Peham 3:07
I recommend everybody to to to one familiarize yourself with those engines, how they work technically, fundamentally, and B um either start your own um POCs, your own experiments um to to learn firsthand. Because Every industry will provide different insights, we'll cite different websites, um, will show you different products and um yeah, so it's it's getting a it's about getting first hand experience in the first place and um not being too too focused on on that myth, let's say. Fair enough.
Jordan Cooney 3:43
Okay, that's all for today, but until next time, remember the answers are always in the data.
