This is the Voice of Search Podcast.

Why does Elliot predict YouTube will be the top channel overlapping with SEO in the next 12 months?

Tyson Stockton 0:44
My name's Tysing, and joining us today is Elliot Sai, Senior Growth Manager of SEO and ASO at Techsnow. Coming up to kind of last portion here. So we're gonna go into the lightning round. Final question though: Crystal Ball. What other marketing channel will have the most overlap with SEO in 12 months?
Elliot Tsai 1:09
I will say uh for sure will be YouTube. That will be the first things. Second will be Apple Store and Google Store optimization. Because if you really understand Apple Store, Google Store understands. There's a huge traffic actually come from Google search.

How will Apple Store and Google Play Store optimization intersect with traditional search results?

Elliot Tsai 1:25
If you look at like for text now, you always will find like free texting app, free calling app. Google doesn't show our homepage. Google show Apple Store and Google store as rank one. So these for sure are gonna overlap. I will I know a lot of people like oh AI, Chat G D P uh uh Gemini, like yeah, it's overlap, but people use it in a different way. People more like creative summary for those part. Not really using for a major search engine.

Time for a one-minute break to hear from our sponsor, Previsible. So you're looking for SEO help, then you got a couple of options. You could start replying to spam from agencies that claim they can get you to rank number one on Google.

Do AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini really complement or replace standard search behavior?

Unknown 2:06
You can pay an hourly rate for a consultant who will inevitably nickel and dime you with hourly charges, or you can work with a cookie cutter agency to quickly launch a strategy-less project with low success rate. None of those sound very good. Now do they? Well, that's where Previsible's integrated consulting model comes in. Previsible draws from a collective 40 years of SEO and digital marketing experience to unlock your organic growth opportunities. They build custom solutions that combine strategy, technical expertise, content, and reporting to effectively operationalize SEO for your business. Previsible's four-stage approach ensures that your SEO programs thrive. By starting off with a strategy first approach.
Unknown 2:47
Then they support you in your efforts to create quality content, help you identify technical issues, and most importantly, to work with your cross-functional teams to integrate your SEO strategies to make sure that your SEO budget actually drives results, not just your agency's bottom line. So join brands like Yelp, eBay, Canva, Atlassian, Square, all who rely on the SEO consultant.

What insights does the host share about the future convergence of video, images, and apps within SERPs?

Unknown 3:09
At Previsible. For more information, go to previsible.io. That's previsible P-R-E-V-I-S-I-B-L-E. Io.
Tyson Stockton 3:22
Yeah. And I I see I see kind of the angle you're going at there, where it's just like because a lot of the discoverability in those channels also happens within the SERP. So it's like separating that. And I mean earlier in the conversation too, you called out that it's like, you know, we're not seeing that full integration yet too. But as far as like just I don't know, different mediums, different sources.

How can listeners connect with Elliot and apply these SEO/ASO strategies to their own brands?

Tyson Stockton 3:51
Yeah. I feel like yeah, you're gonna see more and more video within search, images, apps, whatever it is. Like it's all gonna become like into a more yeah, consistent place.
Elliot Tsai 4:04
Yeah.
Tyson Stockton 4:05
