How does the lightning‑round segment introduce the importance of schema markup?

Tyson Stockton 0:43
With that, we're gonna roll into the kind of final segment of it. So this is like our lightning round where I'm gonna throw a couple of like more of short form questions at you. Each one will have its own theme and we can kind of riff on it, but we'll go through like these five questions. So the first one. Buy or sell. Are you buying or selling that schema markup will increase in importance in the coming year?
Jade Pruitt 1:09
I'm buying it.

Why do experts say schema markup helps large language models read pages more efficiently?

Jade Pruitt 1:10
I think it makes a lot of sense. It's like a layer of code that makes it easier for these LLMs to read what your page is about. And it also saves time and energy for them, which is very important for everyone. So I'm I'm buying it.

Time for a one-minute break to hear from our sponsor, Previsible. So you're looking for SEO help, then you got a couple of options. You could start replying to spam from agencies that claim they can get you to rank number one on Google. You can pay an hourly rate for a consultant who will inevitably nickel and dime you with hourly charges, or you can work with a cookie cutter agency to quickly launch a strategy-less project with low success rate. None of those sound very good. Now do they? Well, that's where Previsible's integrated consulting model comes in. Previsible draws from a collective 40 years of SEO and digital marketing experience to unlock your organic growth opportunities. They build custom solutions that combine strategy, technical expertise, content, and reporting to effectively operationalize SEO for your business.

I completely agree. And my apologies for whoever it was, but I was at Brighton just couple months ago in the UK and someone was presenting and they were like making this call out that L LMs are lazy. And it was like then these are the examples.

How does the discussion about ‘lazy LLMs’ reinforce schema as a controllable SEO tactic?

Tyson Stockton 3:09
I was like, you know what, like they really are right. Like it is pretty lazy if you kind of break things down. So I think schema markup fits exactly within that. And it's like such a controllable thing that we can do as SEOs. So I think that's a great call out. Alright, so with that, that wraps up this episode of the Voice of Search podcast. Thanks again to Jade Pruitt, founder of Hello SEO, for joining us.
