Fifty-seven years ago today, one of the most important walks in human history took place. July 20th, 1969, the Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon and then spent about two and a half hours walking on the lunar surface, becoming the first people to ever do that. Ten more would follow. And it's on track that in a couple years or so more humans will also walk on the moon, so that number of twelve is going to grow. But the first moon walk took place fifty-seven years ago today. If you are wired like me, you already find this fascinating. I was nine years old. My parents I'm so grateful. My parents let me stay up because Neil Armstrong planted his boot print on the lunar surface.
Dave Paul 3:37
It was around ten PM. It was past my bedtime, but mom and dad let me stay up. I don't know if I stayed up for the entire moonwalk, but I stayed up for enough of it that my wide-eyed wonder was it became even more wonderful and my eyes even wider. And over the next three plus years, I watched every one of those moonwalks with fascination. So I actually find it even more interesting. today than I did fifty seven years ago. This episode is not for people like me. Today's episode is for people more like my wife Ava. On the scale of 1 to 10, the interesting scale, 10 means you're totally you've bought in I'm an 11 on the scale for this. One means okay. She's much closer to the one. So today's episode is for you.
Dave Paul 4:34
If you hear me talk about the fifty-seventh anniversary of the first moonwalk and you're like, really? That's what you're talking about today? My goal is by the end of the episode to move you from a one to Maybe a three or four? Some interesting facts. about the first moon walk fifty seven years ago. Number one. They almost didn't land on the moon. They were less than thirty seconds away from running out of fuel.

What are Groons gummies and how can they simplify daily nutrition?

Dave Paul 5:10
So to put this in perspective, imagine going on a really long vacation and before you get there, you almost run out of gas.
