Joy is our birthright yet within the complexity of our world, I think a lot of us have lost touch with this truth. Joy does not have to be reserved for the days we wake up feeling good. It does not have to be separate from our professional experiences. Joy can be the foundation from which we operate our lives. It is a state of being that can be applied to everything we do in our day including the things we "don't want" to do. We need to practice joy. We need to remind ourselves that we have the right to feel good and bring that back into normalcy. A mindset of joy brings about feelings of excitement, power, and love to all life situations. Gail Alofsin is a master of applying joy across the board of her life while working for the betterment of all.
