Our agenda this evening consists of Commission business, including approval of minutes, uh a couple of deferrals, and uh proposed amendments to our bylaws. Uh we will then convene three public hearings. Um s you know, starting off with commission business. And let me uh congratulate uh Commissioners Carter and Clark for their reappointment by the Board of Supervisors for another four year term. Uh you gentlemen will be sworn in at our first meeting next year. And uh uh God bless you.

We do. Uh Mr. Chairman I move that the Planning Commission approve the Planning Commission minutes from September tenth and september seventeenth, twenty twenty five. Second.

I move that the planning commission defer public hearing for S E twenty twenty three dash D R dash zero zero zero three six to a date certain of April twenty second, twenty twenty six. Second.

Yes, thank you. Um we have a um pending application. It's been idle for a while. The applicant has indicated that they are um no immediate plans to move it forward. It is not currently scheduled for a planning commission hearing and so in order to help um staff uh manage the application list I am planning to move it to an indefinite deferral. Um and when the applicant is ready to bring that back, we will move it back on. to the agenda. So Mr. Chairman, I move that the Planning Commission definitely defer the public hearing for PCA dash two thousand eleven dash PR dash zero two three dash zero five, C D P A dash two thousand eleven dash PR dash zero two three dash zero four and FDPA dash two thousand eleven dash PR dash zero two three dash zero five.

Uh oh I'm sorry, we did the congratulations. Commissioner Carter, uh very important matter. Uh y uh you uh Commissioner Carter chairs our um policy and procedures committee. And we've been looking at our bylaws. We do this on a fairly regular basis of some some some ch changes uh that we would like to make to our bylaws and Commissioner Carter is gonna uh walk us through that.
Yes. Uh several of you remember we've had two meetings of the policies and procedures committee and both times we had a a good discussion, I thought, uh and there are lists of changes. To summarize those, uh the first one was to change the uh just use the word chair or vice chair for the name of uh The Chairman. Uh clarifying the logistics of adjoining at midnight, we have a new section that allows the Commission to uh on a on a motion to change the times if if we want, if we or to s to stop work and defer to another date. So we have a l a clause in there that will allow that to happen. Um the third one I was interesting. It's the clarifying commission questions. So that the advice that's coming with the the
Uh bylaws is During the testimony should we should limit to questions. Wait till the public hearing is over with before we get into the meat of of the discussion.
