Well, good evening. Welcome everyone to our February 11th, 2026 Planning Commission meeting. Our agenda this evening consists of Commission Business, which includes just one deferral. We will then convene two public hearings. But before we start our meeting, let me welcome the Centerville Scout Troop 1995, who are here as part of their citizenship in the Community Merit Badge. Scout Troop 1995 is chartered by the American Legion and is composed of boys and girls 10 to 17 years of age. Hey Scouts, as we mentioned in the meeting before this meeting, public service is integral to the smooth functioning of society and a healthy democracy. Planning Commissioners volunteer their time in service to our community.
By volunteering, I mean they contribute a substantial amount of their free time, that is, away from their families and the time they would otherwise be committing to personal interests. They do this to help secure the future success of Fairfax County for the benefit of all its residents. I hope that your focus as you pursue this merit badge extends beyond securing that badge and you too volunteer in some way in supporting your school, your neighborhood, your family and community. Let me also identify the scoutmaster for the troop. This is Dr. Eddie Silverman. Dr. Silverman, thank you for your good work and leadership in bringing this troop here tonight, but also just the service to these young people in helping them grow into their adult responsibilities.
Also with Dr. Silverman is his wife, Sarah, who's an assistant county attorney and was part of the process of getting the troop to be here tonight. Our second public hearing in the Mount Vernon District, Board of Supervisors of Fairfax County, Virginia. is PCA-2003-MV-03-002, also RZPA-2025-MV-00060. Thank you.

Before doing so, let me start off by welcoming, again, those attending our meeting here in the auditorium or watching on TV or subsequently on video. We invite and encourage the public to speak to the Commission. We have just a few ground rules that ensure that everyone is treated equally and the Commission hears from all who wish to be heard. Individuals wishing to provide testimony to the Commission have a number of options. They can testify here in person, or they can provide testimony by phone or YouTube video. At the designated point in the public hearing, I will call for speakers from the speakers list
