So welcome, everyone, to the 11 June Housing Committee meeting for the Planning Commission. I'm the chair of the committee, Chris Landgraf, with my vice chair, Candace Bennett. We'll go around and do introductions, and then I'll set the agenda for the evening. So, Mary, do you want to start?

We have two items on the agenda, continued discussion of housing task force recommendations, and then affordable housing dashboard and income eligibility tool demonstration. followed by some discussion and adjournment. And I believe there will be some discussion in between anyway. So I thank you all for being here. This is actually a continuation that we had from our March meeting, which was the meeting in advance of presenting the housing task force results to the board. And so this is kind of a regroup on our part to see what the board direction was and what

I think officially me and I'll try and channel channel Jen Miller since she wasn't able to be here this evening and The board, we did do the presentation, and I know at least Phil, I can't remember if anyone else was at the Land Use Policy Committee that evening. But if you weren't and you want to watch it, it is, of course, on the website and available, and all the materials are on the website. In terms of the sort of outcome, the board supported what staff had presented. They didn't really come back and say, no, don't do that thing or anything like that. So it was sort of, okay, take what you've done and get to it. And we are currently sort of talking about when the check-ins are going to be. Sort of the long-term plan is about a quarterly check-in with the board, which might be at a meeting or a presentation or might be a written not-in-package memo or something.

And for the fall, since we sort of haven't done anything, I think that's the intent to sort of at the end of the summer send the board some written documentation about this is what we've done so far and how we're going, but not come back with actually a meeting and talk about things. But then in the future that there would be meetings with the board to sort of touch in on these. And we are, the different agencies that have the items are sort of taking them and trying to fit them into our work programs. A number of the things that are in DPD are either related to the comprehensive plan and so are sort of being fed into that process of the phase two of the policy plan update for zoning ordinance amendment work that's going to be presented to the board on the July 7th Land Use Policy Committee.
