Uh we're gonna open with some commission business and then we'll convene six public hearings. Uh so it'll be uh uh uh uh kind of a long night, we think. Um But I let's get let's move on so that we get as much accomplished as quickly as possible. Uh I'm gonna turn to Vice Chair Spain uh for a motion to readopt the Planning Commission's policy for remote participation.

Oh thank you, Chairman. Um under Virginia Code, public bodies are required to annually review and readopt their remote participation policies. The Office of the County Attorney confirms that no changes are required from our current version. Therefore I move readoption of the Fairfax County Planning Commission policy for remote participation of members as circulated by Jill Cooper on june eleventh, twenty twenty six and as posted on the Planning Commission website.
Second. It's been uh moved by uh Vice Chair Spain and second by uh Commissioners uh Sargent. Is there any discussion? Hearing no discussion, all is in favor signify by saying aye. Aye opposed, nay, any abstention that motion carries. All right, thank you. Vice Chair Spain. Uh Secretary Hancock, you have minutes for approval?
We do. Mr. Chairman, I move that the Planning Commission approve the March fourth, eleventh, eighteenth, and twenty twenty five.

I I did want to take a moment to commend uh uh the clerk and her staff for the quality of the minutes we we have reviewed tonight and consistently uh approved. So thank you so much. Um the um Commissioner Bennett, you have a committee meeting announcement.
Uh yes, tomorrow night in uh Combat Room Eleven uh the land use process review committee will be meeting and the focus of that meeting will be the work plan for the year.
Thank you, Commissioner. Um uh as a chair of the policy plan committee I wanted to announce that uh also tomorrow evening at eight thirty uh PM in room eleven of the Government Center uh Center will meet. The agenda will focus on completing phase two of the update to the policy plan of a comprehensive plan. Late last year, the Commission recommended to the Board of Supervisors a phase one set of updated elements to the policy plan, and the board approved updated elements December nineteenth, twenty twenty-five. So tomorrow's policy plan committee meeting will focus on the plans for completion of phase two. uh which will address uh not tomorrow evening but just the planning for getting this done. Uh the phase two will address public facilities, housing, economic development, revitalization, the Chesapeake Bay supplement, parks and recreation, heritage resources, and uh ultimately a glossary.
Again, this is a policy plan committed to address the completion of phase two of the comprehensive plan. Morrow, uh Thursday, june twenty fifth at eight thirty PM in room eleven of a government center. And as always, the public is invited to attend our committee meetings or to view the meetings on channel sixteen. Uh Commissioners any other business?
