I I like I said, I appreciate you joining us this evening and giving us an update on the twenty two thirty two process and the uh state of uh Fairfax County public schools as far as you know where we're going for the next year or two, any modifications, updates? Um but before we begin, I need to uh prove the minutes. I need to make a motion or I'd need to make a motion or have someone make a motion to approve the minutes. So moved.

Hey, good evening all. Eric Gordon, Chief of Facilities for Fairfax County Public Schools. So we have a few slides to go over. One this slide here will talk the twenty two thirty two process as we see it. And then I'll cover some projects that we have in our current CIP and we'll talk through that in renovations, modifications, and new builds. So I I think uh it's about my eleventh month being in the position and I think what I would say is uh The twenty two thirty two process or the communication plan has been a pretty good news story. I think there's you know we've worked through this up to the point that we are. Um I think y we've seen that uh I d you know, presently with our Skyview High School.

high school that we're doing and the communication process. We've done that through that with uh the first phase of that uh communication process. On the slide, uh the see two hyperlinks. The first one is a presentation that we presented to this group back in uh I think February twenty s twenty twenty five uh sorry, February of uh two thousand twenty five, we presented what our communication process looks like. And that second link takes you to our public facing uh website and it talks about and it walks through what our communication plans is. It lists um uh shows roles and responsibilities for that we see as for the county and for the school system and all the down trace support elements as well.
And so it's pretty robust and it also describes the four phases that we go through for community engagement. Uh those four phases are uh the project approval, planning and design. Let's see, uh construction and project completion. And we have community meetings for each one of those phases. And I think you've witnessed or been pr pr has participated in some of those uh similar com uh communications plans. And so, you know, using uh as a model we do follow the kind of what we've done for the Skyview process. So if there was an ex example or what we would show is how we've lined up for the Skyview. And um again, as I mentioned, we're through the phase one piece. Uh we're just getting ready to um award an RFP request proposal for A and E services to start the second phase and start the design piece that obviously we'll be working with the county for it on that.
