Before we do so, though, I would like to state that we start off welcoming those attending our meeting here in the auditorium or watching TV or subsequently on video. We invite and encourage the public to speak to the Commission.

We have just a few ground rules that ensure everyone is treated equally, and the Commission hears from all who wish to be heard. Individuals wishing to provide testimony to the Commission have a number of options. They can testify here in person, or they can provide testimony by phone or YouTube video. At the designated point in the public hearing, I will call for speakers from the speakers list and they will either come forward or their videos will be shown or they will be connected by telephone. There will then be an opportunity for anyone else who would like to speak to the application to come down to the podium or to call in on a number that will be provided on the screen. Speakers testifying via video must sign up and submit their video no later than 9 a.m.
