So we are thinking of moving and to answer the question about kids, I think it's probably a no at this stage.
I don't know.
We could just like โ because Adam's also like, let's go live in Athens.
And I go, we could go live in Athens because we have no kids.
This is a last little, I guess โ
Quick one.
It's about ADHD.
Someone says, I feel like a fraud seeking an ADHD diagnosis because I mask so well.
Your story resonates.
Any tips?
And I think this is a big, big thing.
So a lot of women are late diagnosed or go undiagnosed and historically weren't diagnosed at all
or the criteria wasn't even acknowledging how ADHD shows up in women or people who were raised as women because we learn to mask so well as kids because girls are supposed to be polite and sit still and be clean and be calm and interrupting is rude and saying what you want is mean and aggressive and
and being blunt and not adding in little filler words.
Is she's a bitch or she's bossy?
There's a lot of social repercussions for women and girls with ADHD if you dare to not mask.
So when you do get diagnosed with ADHD or if you're on the journey of being diagnosed with ADHD and you are a heavy masker,
In my experience, I started to clock when I was masking or when I've been masking, but unfortunately I still mask all the time because I may have โ
a better understanding of the fact that I'm masking, but that doesn't change patriarchal conditioning and the punishments that I will have for unmasking.
And I'm not saying that I agree with what I'm doing or that I'm advocating for what I'm doing.
