These are my cookbooks.
And you can see I have stacks of cookbooks.
And then these are my vintage cookbooks.
That's even more cookbooks.
So I just have a lot of cookbooks.
And in terms of the one everybody should have in their kitchen, that's a tough one because I think there's different levels.
You know, it's like if you're just starting out, I will admit, and I don't know why this is a guilty thing, but Barefoot Contessa books were my first cookbooks.
And I think she's great.
I think, you know, there's a reason she's so successful.
I think her recipes really work.
I mean, she really tests them.
And what's fun about her books is that if you're a starter or if you're a beginner chef and you want to have something truly delicious at the end, she's somebody who maximizes flavor and who wants things to taste really good.
It's not about health.
It's not about calories.
It's not about anything else.
It's just about pleasure, which is why her coconut cupcakes, I think, have six sticks of butter in them.
Two in the batter and like four in the frosting.
I just love that she's a gateway to pleasure and helps you experience pleasure from cooking.
Now, if you've already cooked for many years and you want a level up, this one is kind of not as popular.
But Nancy Silverton in LA wrote this book called Mozza at Home, which is different than her other Mozza book, which is restaurant food.
