I'm not, this is not my future.
You know, this is a part-time gig for me.
And they laid out an offer for me and it was 5% of the office.
So think about paying a manager five points on an office, just off the number now.
I mean, that's unheard of now, right?
Plus the salary.
And I went to my desk.
Yeah, it's crazy.
It's a lot of money.
so i go to my dad remember my dad controls everything and uh my dad's a really strict guy you know he's a you know both my parents are immigrant families my mom's a greek immigrant my dad was jewish immigrants everyone becomes a doctor or a lawyer there's nothing else you know um and i showed this to my dad he's like you should do this and i'm like i don't have to drop out of law school and move to jersey's like you should do it
So I deferred, I finished the semester, deferred law school, went and got a one-room apartment with my dog in Newark, New Jersey, and moved up there, and I'm now running New Jersey.
There's no training program, there's nothing, just here's your office, you're running it.
And the office had done $400,000 a year before.
We did 400 grand my first month there.
How did we do it?
Because I just kind of treated the people like my customers, that's all I knew.
I went with the canvas guys and I recruited every day on campus.
I went canvassing at night.
