And they saw these guys, these sales reps that were at these companies at College Park and they'd be like, yeah, if you go start your company, we'll be your install and we'll be your credit line.
And all these little companies spun out.
So Mid-South at the time,
was installing for 30, 40 different companies, power being their biggest.
SRS ends up buying Mid-South.
Power buys some other install thing and turns it into their own, so they leave Mid-South.
Mid-South moves in the building next door and becomes exteriors, et cetera.
And they are just a window, turnkey window and siding supply company and install.
SRS takes over all the roofing.
that's the company i bought in an asset purchase and all those people are still here today in my building um running installation services and when we first took it taupe was like look i don't want to install for my competitors if you the reason we wanted it was the people all the installers all the assets the trucks the knowledge you know the measure techs the systems to scale our install and they had a really nice commercial
division.
I love, you know, I love the idea of getting into commercial.
I want to get into scale.
And so I was like, yeah, yeah, no problem.
I'm not going to stall for my competitors.
So that lasted like a day.
I sent, you know, I sent letters to, you know, whoever, Capital and Long, whoever they're installing for saying, all right, we're going to stall your pipeline.
But at the end, we're not taking any more.
And, you know, I have too many friends in the industry.
And back then there was a lot of labor shortage.
