And my dad is like, he's, he, being in my household, raised by my single dad, he was like my only friend, my just, my dad and I did everything.

And I didn't do anything without him telling me what to do.

My dad raised me with a very strict upbringing, especially around money.

So like, I never, you know,

I worked at McDonald's when I was 14 years old and I would give my dad my paychecks.

When I was in college, I worked three jobs and I would give my dad my paychecks and he would dole out an allowance to me and he would save all that money.

So when I went to law school, my dad's like, you're not working.

You're going to go to law school and I'll give you an allowance.

And that lasts about a week.

And my then girlfriend, now wife was a hairdresser and she's making like 70 grand a year and I have no money.

And I was like, I have to get a job because she's going to leave me if I don't get money.

And so I went to my dad.

I'm like, please, you know, let me work.

And it's like my identity.

I've always been that way.

Like when I worked at McDonald's, you know, in 14, like I was the hardest working dude at McDonald's.

Like I loved it.

And so to not have a job, I had no identity.

So he's like, all right, but you got to work part time.

So this is, you know, 2004.
