They've fully read it.
But in other cities, and I've been part of the city of Miramar, we went to a four-day work week.
This was up to the board, not up to administration.
It was up to the board to do a four-day work week.
We made that decision.
And this is similar.
This is not going to cost anything.
It's a decision that would be based on operational needs.
So it would still be up to the supervisors.
Most of them can tell you that during this time,
They let their employees go anyway.
This is just making sure that it's adopted by resolution, which other cities and counties do.
There's no jurisdiction.
We're not overstepping our bounds in any way, shape, or form, as I've done in the city of Miramar.
I'll just be brief.
I had spoken with our county administrator to get some information on what we are doing with regards to the FIFA.
World Cup that's coming into South Florida.
And so I hope at the next commission meeting, or the one after, we can get some clarification as to our involvement, what was brought forth to the CVB by the FIFA folks, what the response has been, and moving forward, what we plan on doing.
