I think that's the thing.

For the big tournament going on around me, I was kind of in my own mini tournament as such.

But I still had my own goals.

I think it was top

12 at the time, gets an invite back into the Open the following year.

So I was still kind of chasing that.

I was around 25th going into the weekend.

And, you know, I actually shot one under on the Saturday, which I was really pleased with.

But the pros absolutely blew me away.

I think Brandon Gray shot the lowest ever Open score.

And I actually moved backwards.

I went from 25th down to about,

47th or 48th so yeah it was quite a tough day really but Sunday was nice a little bit of a holiday just relaxed enjoyed myself tried to take it all in and

You know, they're sitting at Birkdale on the last.

They've got the two stands either side with a clubhouse at the end with all the members in that stand.

You know, and apart from actually winning the Open...

I've had the same reception and the same walk down 18 as, you know, as Jordan Spieth did or that week.

So, um, you know, I've probably got more of a reception and, and, and the feeling than second place in the open, which, you know, which is probably a much better achievement.
