Like that was kind of her methodology.
She's actually over time become a great saver, but definitely had to work that muscle.
Whereas I had the opposite approach.
I refused to spend a dollar because it scared me to lose it and wanted to hoard my money and had to get into a place over time.
And I think I've shared this on the podcast before where I don't just want to covet every dollar out of fear, but learn to spend my money and be able to do the things that I want to along the way.
So-
Cater it to your kid.
You know them better than anyone else.
But I think the more you can visualize it, the easier it will be for kids to get it.
So are we like poor now?
No, we're not poor.
We're just thrifty.
