So on the product side, the product team utilizes tons of focus groups and user testing, et cetera, especially our digital design group when it comes to accessibility and just the best UI possible for our PBS.org redesigns, et cetera.

We're going to be launching a new version of the pbs.org this fall, later this fall.

So we used a lot of user testing.

And again, our stakeholders are station counterparts.

So they work with our stations and get, they're kind of like the messengers and they get direct feedback from employees at stations, but who also work with their local communities.

Um, so they get feedback, they give it to us.

And then we, um, we will share it out back to the product teams as well, but the product teams do their own thing on the marketing side, when it comes to content and shows, you know, our programming department is the one who green lights shows.

And then we try to figure out which audience are we trying to reach with XYZ show.

So we do a lot of viewer panels.

We work with outside, um, consultants that are, um,

Focus groups, but even more so than that, trying to figure out the sub genres of audiences and what this climate show or what this drama, like what are the sub audiences that we should reach?

What's attainable and what's a reach, if you will?

Like what is, okay, this show is similar to the show that we had last year, but we think we can reach a slightly different audience as more into animals.

And those vendors help us with that research that we don't have the bandwidth to do within our internal staff because we really don't have that much staff.

So it's a combination of what we do and then what we outsource as much as we can with the experts.
