And that's not what catering is about.
You know, you start off in one location, you move and the days just constantly, like you're just going with the flow and you're constantly doing something different, which is really fun.
So that's just one of the things that I fell in love with it because I was like, I could just never leave.
I can work 14 hours and be fine to work another two.
Yeah, I mean, if you're not doing what you love, like I said, I mean, just find something, like find a different industry to get into, right?
The catering industry, venues, like, I mean, it's a very rewarding career, right?
Like you're doing something, someone a favor, you're trying to make their day as special as they can be, you know, and if you're doing what you love, then it doesn't feel like work.
I mean, the day that work actually feels like work for me is probably the day that I would just hang up and just be done.
Their biggest day.
I mean, brides have been dreaming about this moment since they were eight years old, twirling in a little white dress in front of their mom's mirror.
You know, this is such an important day for them that again, just by hiring great vendors and just putting them, you know, reassuring them that their day is going to be everything that they've dreamt of plus more.
It's amazing.
Family style, plated, like that requires a little bit more staff, right?
You've got multiple courses, you've got moving parts, like, you know, you've got additional dishes, like a salad course, and then you've got like the main course and then a dessert course.
So with that comes more staffing.
Yep.
For us, you know, the cheaper of the three between buffet, family style, and plated is going to be the buffet.
And that's just because, again, they're not paying for the extra cost.
