Um obviously the
iPhone 16 is coming out tomorrow, iOS 18 is out, it doesn't have Apple Intelligence yet, but soon iOS 18.1 will be out, and that will have Apple Intelligence.
And I like having their demos how they demo how they actually illustrate how they're using it.
So Apple Intelligence obviously uses AI and it figures out what service they want to use.
So the I you might take a picture of something, and that picture might be of, I don't know, a bicycle outside that you walk by that you think is
Cool.
So that might bring up Google search as a tool.
It might, the I says I need Google search.
If you take a picture of a restaurant you're walking by, it might go ahead and utilize Apple Maps, Yelp, and Open Table to make a reservation.
It's using AI to figure out what other search services or AI services you use.
If you take a picture of a note of your notes from college or a classroom, it might say, I'm gonna bring up ChatGPT to go in and help you with those.

So I like how Apple is thinking about using AI, well they're calling it Apple intelligence, as a way to say which service do we need to use to figure out what we should go ahead and do with it.
And I think that's kind of the future of this type of stuff is to figure out like when to search and what search tools to use.
Like I'm still using Wolfram Alpha, which is great at certain types of things, but I know to use it.
Whereas if AI can say this is your problem.
this is what you should use and just do it for you, that would be, that would be great.
Um so I think that's really the future of search.
And I don't I think there's elements that I think every search service is thinking about it that way.
And I think Chat GPT has some uses.
