And affirming is nice because it just tells you what you want to hear.
Kind means you're going to say what needs to be said, even if it's hard to hear.
Right.
Yep.
And that's kind of how I approach that.
It's performative.
It's what is going to make me look good and feel good versus what is actually necessary or needed or what the person actually long-term wants.
Even with a heroin addict, I mean, he wants to feel better, but feeling better is going to mean going through some pretty tough, uncomfortable things to get clean.
I mean, I even tell my trauma therapist that or my trauma clients that, right?
Like trauma therapy is messy and hard and it's painful and it's going to hurt before you're done.
I think that it's totally possible to support social justice as a conservative movement.
when it's done correctly.
Well, yes, I'm using their word.
But, you know, all right, I'm going to go, I'm going to go there.
I'm, I'm a Christian.
So my job is to be Jesus to people.
That's my job.
Jesus talked about supporting the poor and the outcast and the widow and in the orphans and the people who, you know, were struggling.
