I get what you're saying, but what in the world does that have to do with me?
So I'm going to go through the story again, but this time you're the child and you're fighting the arms of Jesus.
So you are in new territory here, or maybe you've been in this territory for a long time, but no matter what this territory of just wanting to be pregnant, it doesn't feel normal.
It doesn't feel safe.
It feels unknown.
It feels scary.
And you know that all you can do to go
to get comfort is into Jesus's arms.
You know that you have eaten all the stinking right foods.
You've taken all the darn supplements.
You have been exercising in a way that you know you should, or you think you should, but you're not totally sure.
But regardless, like you've done everything you can and you know in your heart of hearts that all that is left to do is just to relax and surrender and just put your head on Jesus's chest.
But you don't want to, you're tired, you're grumpy, you're,
exhausted and you're fighting this surrender and this peace every step of the way.
You want to, you want to surrender, you want to rest in your Lord's arms, but you're fighting it.
You're banging your arms against Jesus's chest for what feels like an eternity of like, Jesus, are you just going to give me this baby?
Are you just going to let me be pregnant?
