And you fuss and you have crying and you're trying to pull away.

And then finally, this is what he invites you to do.

He says, come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

So finally, after all your fighting, he's inviting you to just start calming down and just let your head fall onto his chest and just let all the weight of your body and everything that you're carrying go limp.

And finally, let his arms wrap around you in safety and warmth.

And you finally stop fighting.

And you finally embrace this peaceful surrender to the comfort of your Savior's love.

You let go of all of your cares, all of your fears, and all of your worries.

And of all of the concerns of not being in a safe place, you let it all go.

And then finally, he grants you peace.

And he grants you sleep, I hope.

And just rest.

And true relaxation in this surrender.

And it's pure bliss.

So I'm sure you're hearing that and you're thinking like, oh, wow, I want that.

That would be really nice, but I don't know how to get there.

So I'm going to invite you into this idea here that our mind, our body, and our spirit are connected.

I mean, if we read in scripture, we see this connection.

our physical body, our emotions that we can't see, but we sure are experiencing.

And then our spirit that also we cannot see, but oh, it is so there.
