It's not that like anyone who has performed well has like sticky buzz, but I do, I like that term, but I do think that having both like some prospect pedigree and some model pedigree to where like you've done it long enough that
that the projections still think you'll be good.
And also like you did it in a way that scouts are like, yeah, like this makes sense to me.
Kind of gets everyone looking the same way at it.
Like if you have a guy who was kind of baffling the visual evaluators, right?
They're like, how is this guy succeeding?
And he keeps doing it.
Well, the second that he drops off, it's over.
Like for trade value, because basically there's been one guy in the GM's ear for years being like, that guy sucks.
Like he's not for real.
And then the second that he goes down, it's like, yeah, see?
um but henderson is obviously not that guy there's there's no scout who's like gunner henderson that guy has no tools like that's that's just not how it works um he was one of the top prospects in baseball he was a high draft pick he did it you know in the majors he had an eight win season i think that it's one of these like if you've checked both boxes people are more lenient but there i did there was not like consensus on that pick i think that

They couldn't like, he's not getting traded.

And I think people's opinions were like more widely varied there than they were for say, uh,
Like Paul Skeens, the opinions varied from like maybe he's only the fourth best pitcher in baseball to he's the best pitcher in baseball.
