And I guess for two reasons.
One is my goal is just to be the best possible leader that I can be.
So having a framework that is data-driven, right?
So this is not somebody's opinion.
This is data-driven.
The ways that
you know, the best companies and or the best CEOs, depending on how you look at it, but I look at it both ways.
You know, the things that they've done to make sure that over that period of time,
they get the best outcome kind of relative to the market, relative to peers, is something that really resonates with me.
And even before the CEO excellence book, the power curve framework that you all have, which a lot of it finds its way into the book, is something else that was really, really resonated with me in terms of value creation.
And one of the things for me, to be specific, that you have to
transition as a leader from being a pure operating leader, that's different.
It's necessary, but it's not sufficient for enterprise value growth.
And so I think what the CEO Excellence Framework does is really helps me understand everything from, you know, be bold, you know, be bold early and often and be right.
as you're being bold, right?
That might be obvious to some people, but as someone coming in new as a CEO, that's not actually obvious.
You would be reasonable to think, I need to take a minute.
Let's assess, let's think, let's learn, let's understand.
And obviously there's a part of that, but you have to be ambitious for the firm, for the company.
