I've got to say, I've got to picture clearly how much what we did messed up their supply chain or cost them money or cost them a job or whatever, or just cost them an annoyance or just made it difficult to shoot up their time.

and made them frustrated, whatever, whatever.

I have to figure out what's upsetting them.

Going back to what are they saying and what are they feeling?

So I've got to get in tune with how they're feeling.

And I've got to show them that I've heard them, I've felt them.

I've both heard, understood them,

what they're set.

And I've also felt the emotion that they're feeling and that I get that.

And that I have an action plan to solve it.

So that is a sequence to all that.

I think it's a mistake to give only positive feedback or only negative feedback.

So for example, right now, I'm in the middle of performance appraisals and where each person is writing three things that they're really proud of that they've accomplished in the last few months and that they really feel good about and it's an achievement.

It's definitely a plus, not a negative.

but also three things that we could have done better or we will do better going forward.

Things that we didn't quite achieve that we hope to achieve.

So it's a balance.

It's three good things, it's three bad things.

But when I run meetings,

I like to make it like an Oreo cookie.
