He'll be a guy that that'll challenge for that.

And then you also have, you know, a newcomer there as well at the end of last season that we hadn't seen yet in Jonathan Castanian, another free agent college kid.

Um he was hurt, didn't play at the end of last year, but was around the team.

Uh again, another guy that has some great uh upside

Really good skater and and it'll get our first real chance to see him in game action here tonight.

So that's kinda one area I'm looking at in terms of the NHL roster where two guys, Gross and Castaña, who are playing tonight, have a chance to kind of start their process of earning that final spot.

Yeah, that was my first foray because I don't know if it was that no one else wanted to hold down the post in PA, but they let me go.

And it was funny.

I was, like, supposed to be the community reporter, and I would be at, like, Raiders practice every day.

And they're like, the boss would be once a week on the phone.

He'd be like, you have to cover other things in the community.

And I'm like, I did.

I was at Raiders practice.

So I was, like, full time.

I made it my Raiders beat.

and uh and it was it was fun and then yeah i got locked on with uh whl and shaw at that time and uh and then followed it all the way to calgary and that's sort of uh my entry point but i think i mean we must have worked together for three years off and on like obviously the schedule would come out we would do maybe it was even more than that going back yeah it probably was but yeah this is why great playoff runs right together oh yeah

Yeah, it's been an interesting summer because I think, you know, I think everybody looks back to like the deadline last year and sort of the midway point of the season as a real turning point for this team.

Obviously, they've moved on from veterans over the past couple of years.

But, you know, I think, you know, last year really signaled that

you know, maybe a true direction for where this team is, is currently headed and, and wants to be, you know, going in the future.
