It's not real.
Um but yeah, I wrote the story, not even thinking it was gonna get published, in order to answer a question that I think my son may ask me in the future.

So the the publisher who I have to always thank Lindsay Davis because we have the same publisher.
She's actually the one we were talking during the the Derek Chauvin trial when I told her, Oh, I'm just gonna stay over the weekend and work on my book.
She's the one that said, This is something that needs to be promoted, not just for your child, but for everyone.
So thank you again, Lindsay.
Um, but the publisher is like, What about like a card?
Like what like what would you give your son?
And so it's a know your right, but also invoke your right card.
And it basically like has
the person's name, um, the parent's name, contact number, and it says things along the lines of like, I don't consent to being searched, I don't want to speak, I want my lawyer, those affirmative statements that you would want your child, uh like young teenager to say to make sure that law enforcer knows, hey.
I want my
They've got a parent.
Hey, they've they've got someone looking after them.
If there's a question need to be made, ask them, talk to them.
So I would say throughout my journey of of being a legal contributor or host of or different aspects.
I talked to my other colleagues and be like, How do you do this?
And the best way that I have come to understanding how my voice works best is I imagine the camera is the mother of my client.
That they are highly involved in this case.
