There's about nine new weapons now that you couldn't use in the original version.
And some of them are like no-brainers because, I mean, you might have forgotten this, but when you kill an elite in Combat Evolved, you couldn't even pick the sword up that he just dropped.
And, of course, you could later in the series.
So you can pick up the sword now.
You can pick up a sentinel beam now.
You can pick up a fuel rod gun now.
That's great.
What's really cool to me, though, probably my favorite I have to shout out would be we have not had a Brute Spiker in a Halo game in a long time.
And it's back.
We can talk about that a little bit.
It actually comes back via the new bonus missions.
But there are some other features like remakes.
You'll be able to kind of get your Spiker fill if you want to.
But things like the battle rifle, the needle rifle,
Things that are just enhancements and beloved items to the sandbox now are added in ways that make sense thoughtfully that just enrich the experience.
Or the pro tip, Pip, is giving your Marines the rockets and snipers because they pretty much have unlimited ammo while they're wielding them.
And now you're just rolling down.
That sounds dangerous too.
Okay, one more kind of fun fact, not to be too spoilery.
I mean, it's a 25-year-old kind of core game, but still there'll be new players experiencing.
