In November in the Himalayas.

So I'm running at the bottom of in the pole.

I'm running at the bottom of some mountain.

I haven't a fucking clue where it is, but we're running to Everest Base Camp.

Meaning that there's a it's 170 kilometers over five days running at altitude to Everest Base Camp.

So people normally do Everest Base Camp and I'm not even sure how many days it is, but we're doing it about a third of the time and we're going to run it.

So myself and Simon.

Who ran the Arctic with me, who ran Marathon asab with me?

Uh, the two of us are going over to Nepal in November, and we are running 170 kilometers at altitude to Everest Base Camp.

For anyone that's unfamiliar with the altitude, it's about 6,000 meters, which means that it's going effectively straight up.

Um, Everest is 8,000 meters for context.

And that's gonna be the next event.

So over the next few months, I'm gonna give myself

Of a little bit of a break in terms of running, just get my body recover.

Um, I might do Iron Man at some stage in between just to give me a little bit of focus between now and November, but 80% of my priority in training is going to be building up my body to run at altitude.

And the reason I picked this event in particular or this run in particular was because I've done the heat in the Sahara, I've done the cold in the Arctic, and I was like,

Oh, the next logical step is altitude.

Um, so I want to see how my body will respond at that level of altitude and just see how it goes.

So, as I said, the next month is going to be mostly hypertrophy and strength based work.

And then probably from April first or so, I'll start gearing things towards the Himalayan race in or the Himalayan run in November.
