So to me, reading is really relaxing.

I'm into movies, sort of a cinephile.

So I really like movies, walking.

I do some making in the sense of like microelectronics, 3D printing and circuits.

And I do that with my boys.

I have a little lab here at my podcast studio.

So I do have these various hobbies lurking around, which I do enjoy.

Yeah.

I mean, here's my big thing.

When you're done working, be done working.

In fact, I have a whole routine.

I call it a schedule shutdown ritual where you do a whole sort of psychological ritual to end your workday where you identify any open loops that are just in your head and you make sure that gets written down somewhere that it's not in your head.

You have a plan for tomorrow.

There's nothing you're missing.

If I have a checkbox on my planner and when I check that box, that means I've shut down the day.

There are no open loops.

If later in the evening, a little rumination voice pops up, but what about this?

What about that?

I can just say, nope.

I checked that checkbox, which means I reviewed everything.
