He would climb jungle gyms.

He would play soccer, baseball, like whatever.

but especially love swimming.

And we got an invitation to a friend's birthday party, an adult party, no kids.

And Chris and I went back and forth on it.

That's my husband, Chris.

I was like, I don't know.

Do we want to leave the kids at home with the nanny on the weekend?

And he was like, we haven't done anything as adults in years.

So we went to this party.

We had my nanny, her teenage son, Caleb was home, and

Calder was a great swimmer, so when they said, can he go swimming, my husband was like, yeah, it's the first day of spring break.

Of course he can go swimming.

And unfortunately, what no one knew was our swimming pool, the pool light was electrified.

Somehow something had gone wrong.

And he dove into the pool and swam to the end, which is what he always does.

Dive in, swim all the way to the end, holding your breath and touch the light.

And unfortunately...

That day he touched the light and it killed him.

It was literally so much electricity it threw him out of the pool.
