I am going to say at this point that most people are affected by being ignored, right? matched

This is not just about you being weak or not strong enough or not resilient enough. matched

This is recognizing that it hurts humans to be ignored, to be left out, to feel disconnected from someone. matched

I do recognize that some of you know yourself enough that you feel like, or you know, that's true, but my reaction to being ignored is excessive. matched

Being ignored, like I say in the quote, it gives us all an icky feeling, but you may know the way that I worry, the way that I spiral, the way that I overthink, or, you know, the reaction that I have is big and often, matched

when that's the case if you follow my work if you've listened to any other episodes in this podcast you'll probably know that it is those moments when it's a really big reaction to something that feels bigger than others or it feels bigger than the situation is often about something deeper it's triggering our core beliefs it's triggering a past wound or an experience that we've had matched

And it's showing up, you know, in our thoughts and in our body right now. matched

Usually, if it does impact you more, it can be because of those pre existing matched

issues which can include things like abandonment wounds you're already feeling lonely you're going through a tough time anyway you've been ignored in the past really that list is endless that's for you to look inwards you don't have to get lost there this is just me sort of saying yes you know what this does affect most people but some of us will feel it really excessively matched

especially my friends overthinkers. matched

With that in mind, I want you to take a moment to reflect because I'm always interested in your experience. matched

It's one thing to do this podcast and it's so funny with a podcast because you put it out matched

And it's not like some of the other social media platforms where you get this sort of direct response. matched

I do love that that's changing. matched

Like Spotify is definitely creating more opportunities for you to leave comments, for you to ask questions. matched

I think that's brilliant. matched

I don't, some of you, listen, if you have left a message and I have responded to you, thank you, thank you, thank you. matched

But even so, there's something about the podcast where it's like this, it's almost like there's that bit more of distance between us, which is why I always say drop into my DMs, leave a comment on Spotify or YouTube. matched

But also that's why I like to pause and say, okay, this education I'm sharing is great, but let's not forget to reflect and make this matched

about me looking inwards because that's how we get out of our own heads in the long term. matched
