Um so that's yeah, really important for me to to keep that squiggly line.
I mean it's a very vulnerable thing to share and your instinct is to not want to share.
Of course it is, because we're we're we're wired and we've been um we've evolved to think well we should only put our best foot forward because we might be thrust out of the group scenario.
You know, that's just like primal fear.
Um, but we don't need to have those worries anymore.
And it's really important, like the social bonding for us and and the the parts of the brain that that lights up.
is so crucial to help you start to feel safe and calm and capable of moving forward.
So it is really important.
But it's really important that the person you talk to um can just sort of say, Yeah, I hear you.
That's really hard.
Let me know what I can do to help.
I think it's really, really important and people overlook it.
And a lot of the times our bodies can give us symptoms that really mimic anxiety.
And there could be such a there can be such a physical component that um like for example for me, you know, just a a year or two ago I went on this inhaler for bronchitis and it it it gave me such severe anxiety symptoms, like a racing heart, and I started to think, oh my god, what's happening?
Well, how can this be happening to me?
I know so much and I shouldn't be, and how can I write this book?
And when
I went back to the doctor and said, I've been feeling this way.
He said, Oh yeah, that's a really common side effect of that medication.
And I was falling down, even with all my awareness, falling down a rabbit hole of thinking I need to do all this work on myself again and oh my God.
