I just always want to win.
It's not necessarily a nice quality, but yeah, I'm just very... Do you think it's an insult to women?
Well, also, you know, you spend a lot of time in the sporting world.
I feel that to be competitive as a man is seen as a bonus.
Yeah, but if you're a competitive woman, then it shades into that, oh, she's very ambitious, you know, and that's seen as an insult.
Yeah, I think a little bit.
But I feel, you know, I feel proud to be competitive.
But sometimes I suppose it comes back to that thing about contentment, doesn't it?
Sometimes I wish I wasn't quite so competitive.
You know, that phrase, don't let the best be the enemy of the good.
Sometimes I wish I could just be happy with good.
You know, that would make me happy.
Weirdly, you know, unlike Michael Heseltine, although he always disputes this story, you know, that he had his career mapped out on the back of the envelope culminating in prime minister.
I don't feel I've ever planned my career like that.
But what I where I am competitive with myself is that I always want to get the best story or the best exclusive or the best interview.
You know, that is so it's not, you know, oh, I want that job.
It's like I want to do this job to the best of my ability so that I feel happy with myself.
