You immediately have to jump in and rephrase this thought.
voice-verified
You have to become aware of your thoughts, which is also something that I will teach you in the hypnosis coaching program.
voice-verified
And that's something that you need to understand, that it won't just be one.
voice-verified
And then there is another myth that I want to talk about, another lie that maybe you have been, well, conditioned yourself with or been conditioned with.
voice-verified
And that's that nicotine is your need, that you need nicotine, that your body needs it, that without nicotine you wouldn't survive.
voice-verified
But the truth is that you are simply addicted right now to it.
voice-verified
And in the same way as your body has learned this chemically induced dependency, your body can unlearn this chemically induced dependency.
voice-verified
And on top of that, so many of my clients have experienced.
voice-verified
That they are not really as much addicted to nicotine as they thought before they started working with me in the hypnosis coaching program, because they then realize, hey, I don't even have these bad withdrawal symptoms that I thought I would have.
voice-verified
Well, because the media and also then as a result, our body and our mind loves to catastrophize.
voice-verified
So while you're thinking, oh my god, I won't be able to sleep for two weeks and my whole life will go down the drain.
voice-verified
In reality, you will then suffer one day a little bit where you feel some anxiety, the next day it will get better again.
voice-verified
I don't say that it's always that way.
voice-verified
I also don't want to downplay the reality of nicotine withdrawal, but I can confidently say from having helped countless people from all over the world to quit smoking, I can confidently say that the way they assumed that their withdrawal symptoms would
voice-verified
be was often hundred times worse, if not thousand times worse, than the withdrawal symptoms if they actually experienced any of them than they then experienced in reality.
voice-verified
And another thing you have to remember is, when it comes to withdrawal, that withdrawal from nicotine is temporary, and within a few days your body begins to heal itself and reset itself.
voice-verified
And the cravings then
voice-verified
go down, they get less and less, and your health improves, and that's the natural process.
voice-verified
So please don't fall into this trap of catastrophizing everything.
voice-verified
Which of course advertisements are very good at that and the news are good at that.
