They sort of made it more difficult to get these jobs when they had sort of their pick of applicants. voice-verified

And so, for example, we saw companies add college degree requirements for jobs like IT help desk positions or construction supervisors positions. voice-verified

And so kind of in this new sort of market, there's some data out there that is interesting. voice-verified

It suggests that 1.4 million jobs will be open to people without college degrees in the next five years if employers continue to lower educational requirements at the current rate. voice-verified

I mean, it could really make a lot more people sort of eligible for roles that they may not have been in the past and may not have been in the Great Recession when the labor market was a lot different. voice-verified
