my sister gave him some crumble and my mum came down and the two of them were just talking about Yorkshire growing up in Yorkshire and the food and stuff and my mum is too so it was really really funny I was like hello can we talk about
Yeah, it's lovely.
He's just a really nice guy.
And when I was in London in 1990, he had just opened Harvey's.
And I thought it was amazing what he was doing.
He was rock and roll.
Yeah, he was, for sure.
I was inspired a lot by him because he's kind of self-taught in a way.
And he uses the Italian experience from his background.
His heritage.
Yeah, yeah.
So we grew up in the pub and I left when I was 17.
I washed glasses until we got a dishwasher, a glass washer in 1984.
And I stopped becoming a glass washer in 1984.
At 14 I became a barman.
My mom was already doing like soups and sausage rolls and stuff.
And then she stopped doing that in the mid 80s.
