Building up your email lists, all of these things make you less beholden to Google, and they they kind of future-proof anything that might happen.
Because you know, Google just yesterday did their content creator summit thing for the people who are hit by helpful content.
And what came out of that was not super inspiring.
And it basically said, like, Google's not gonna roll back the helpful content.
content update, they're gonna try and get the some of the h good human content back in, but they don't know how.
And they're asking non Googlers like, How do you think we should do this?
And it's like, dude, you guys are the engineers.
You broke it.
Fix it.
Like go talk to your AI and ask the AI that question.

This it was totally inappropriate, I thought, that the Googlers and there were Googlers who didn't know like basics of like one Googler apparently didn't know what Google Analytics was.
Like why was that person invited?
And why do they not have more webmasters at these events that know what Google Analytics is?
Like, come on.
But that but that's kind of that proves the point, right?
Like Google has what, tens of thousands of employees and three webmaster facing people and they're barely responsive anymore, especially on Twitter, like we have Danny and Martin and Gary and John, so four.
Four is not enough.
But if they cared if they cared, they would have more than four and the people at that event would have known what Google Analytics was.
Well and the intentional inconsistency, right?
