They haven't said, FYI guys, like we're not really doing that anymore.
They did say like the don't be evil thing, we're not doing that anymore, which was kind of a red flag for a lot of us, right?
But that was it's a total change of guard, right?
It was techie hippies who wanted
to organize the world's information and democratize it.
Um and now it's like, you know, Mackenzie moneymakers who are there to and why would that's leaving money on the table.
To someone who's trained to just make money, you wouldn't leave data on the table.
Well, what they knew, what they realized is that webmasters were using information from Google Ads, from Google Analytics to inform not just decisions on Google, but decisions on other ad networks that were taking Google's profits, right?
So Google worked hard enough to make their ads better, to undercut these other ad networks, where now a lot of them are out of business, or they they destabilized the entire business model.
Like what they've done with affiliate marketing, where none of the affiliates are making any money.
So the ad networks that the affiliates were using are also not making any money and people are just kind of falling like dominoes.
And then Google says, like, we're sorry and we didn't mean for that to happen.
But they I mean, someone did, right?
Like someone's not upset.
There are people like Danny and and whoever who like probably are sorry that that they've undercut
entire businesses and entire business models.
But at the end of the day, there are others that are like, yeah, we kind of thought that might happen.
Cool.
So the the funny thing about the lack of data is that it's more nefarious than it seems.
It's not just that they're taking our data about us and they're taking our business data about our businesses and they're not giving it back.
