And then to share that with someone who maybe you're falling in love with or you care about really deeply, that can really solidify the relationship.
That's the other side of the pendulum here is that it can really strengthen a relationship.
Well, I think one of your callers before said that going through that stressful experience in Tasmania actually helped them find a resilience, and that can happen with some couples.
Some couples can come together in adversity.
They can bond.
They can feel even stronger, whereas other couples that maybe don't have as good of relationship skills, maybe they don't have the conflict resolution skills or the ability to be able to listen or resolve issues can really be split up by stress.
So I think different couples react in different ways.
Yeah, absolutely.
And this is an important part of all relationships is we need to develop, you know, the owner's manual on our partner.
And holidays are a great way to do that.
You can find out much just alone from having, you know, more time just to talk and just hang out.
That can be very positive because you're getting to know each other and you can find out more about each other if the relationship's early on.
If you find yourself in one of those stressful situations, you can also get a good sense of what are the strengths and weaknesses of my partner?
Where do they do well and where do they struggle?
And that's important information to know about your partner for the future.
I would recommend you need to fight fear.
That's the most important thing because, you know, if things are getting out of control, you're yelling or arguing or slamming doors, running away without letting your partner know when you're coming back.
That's very destructive to any relationship.
So it's really important to, you know, if things escalate, you take a time out, you take a break and you make a time to come back to talk about
about the issue when you're calmer.
