I'm sure these guys don't love not playing, uh, but he framed it as: hey, this is the reality.
Um, interestingly, might not even have been his uh uh completely AJ's decision.
Obviously, this is coming from uh the front office, at least partially as well.
And so I don't know, I haven't necessarily sensed, you know, some huge disgruntlement, but at the same time, look, no one wanted to be here.
And and I would imagine that was part of AJ's message.
Like we are here and we are doing this because we did not play well enough.
For the bulk of the season.
And that means your September looks a little different.
We can't go back in time and change that.
Um, I think just being straight up instead of trying to sugarcoat it has probably helped that go down a little smoother.
But it is weird to see, like, oh yeah, Gleber Tour is still here, Javi Prize is still here.
They're just not really playing.
And and that again could get interesting if I don't know, what if they win a couple of these games in Toronto?
What if suddenly it's not uh
But not completely uh they're not totally dead, even as improbable as that might be.
Yeah, I think he's pretty high on that list.
And and the same with Colt Keith as well.
Colt Keith at least has um a a contract extension that he's under and can play multiple positions.
It's just really unclear where he fits or what the Tigers want to see out of him long term.
Um and Torkelson is different because there is a little less security.
