the big shift this year was the fedwire go live in july to support iso 2002 and we were a pretty major part of that supporting our our banks uh in that transition um i guess though that it has it has implications though iso 2002 for years to come um the first thing we should be aware of is you know iso 2002 is not one thing
It has different versions and different networks will use different fields differently as well as different fields.
So although we've got a common basis for language in payments, there will be differences.
It's just like my UK English and your American English both serve the same purpose, but understanding the differences is key to acting within that network and
I come across to the States and I embarrass myself every day with my language.
But that's part of the learning to be local.
But I also really hope to see more benefits coming from ISO 2002 in 2026.
We've done the hard work.
We've got the systems talking ISO 2002.
We've got the networks talking the language.
But now it's really time to take the benefits of the ISO 2002 structure
the increased data, the structured data.
And that's going to be particularly important for B2B payments and remittances.
Or even for being able to interoperate and hop between rails.
We're going to see a time where intelligent routing of payments, there's a difference right there, I would say routing, but intelligent routing of payments will be making decisions as to
how to take this payment and the data of the payment.
And do I send it down a wire channel?
Do I send it down an instant channel?
What's best for the customer?
What's the customer's preferences?
