We will buy everything you need, like clothes, food, all the essentials, obviously.

But if they want books and toys and all that, not needs, just pure wants, that's on them.

We're not just going to buy them a random toy at the store because they want it.

They have to save up for it.

So we found that if we just take their year.

So Astrid's eight.

Hopefully Astrid's not getting underpaid on my system.

This could be really awkward between me and Astrid's parents.

She might be getting five dollars a week, whatever.

But for our eight year old, that's eight dollars a week.

So there's about four weeks in a month.

So he's making about thirty two dollars a month.

So it's not crazy.

You can buy about a toy a month or something like that.

You know, because he's into, like, Legos, things like that.

But then we also set them up to give 10%, save 10%, and then they can do whatever they want with the rest.

They bought each other gifts at Christmas out of their allowance, stuff like that.
